Production
Production is all about shaping a song’s core — enhancing the arrangement, adding push/pull, and helping the artist’s vision fully take form. When I produce, I look at what’s already working in a track and ask, “What’s missing emotionally?” Sometimes that means subtle layers like keys or synth textures to build atmosphere. Other times it’s writing new parts entirely, restructuring sections, or finding that one sound that ties it all together.
As a multi-instrumentalist, I often contribute live bass or trumpet where it serves the song, giving it a more human, expressive feel. My goal is never to take over, but to collaborate — helping artists bring out the full potential in their work, whether that means building from a rough demo or fine-tuning an already-strong arrangement.
Mixing
Mixing is where your song starts to come to life. It’s the process of balancing all the individual tracks — vocals, drums, guitars, synths, everything — and shaping how they work together as a whole. I focus on clarity, depth, and energy: dialing in tone, space, and movement so your song feels finished and emotionally impactful. Whether you’re going for punchy and polished or raw and gritty, mixing is about honoring your sound and presenting it at its best.
Mastering
Mastering is the final step in the production process — a subtle but essential polish that ensures your track sounds its best everywhere it plays. I fine-tune tonal balance, dynamics, loudness, and spacing so your mix translates well across all speakers, from earbuds to club systems. It’s also where we prep your song for distribution, making sure everything meets industry standards while still sounding uniquely yours.
People often ask if mastering is really necessary — and while a great mix is crucial, I believe one of the most valuable aspects of mastering is having a fresh set of ears. After working on a track for hours or days, it’s easy to lose perspective. As someone coming in with objectivity and experience, I can catch what might be overlooked and make sure your music connects the way it’s meant to.
Recording
Great recordings start with the right environment, the right gear, and the right ears behind the mic. While I don’t operate out of a dedicated studio, I offer flexible, mobile recording sessions — bringing my hand-selected microphones, experience, and attention to detail wherever the music happens.
A strong recording is the foundation of a great final product. It sets the tone for everything that follows — mixing, mastering, and ultimately how the song connects with listeners. Whether it’s capturing vocals, live instruments, or layering overdubs, I focus on getting clean, emotionally true performances at the source.
Every session is tailored to the artist — no cookie-cutter signal chains, no one-size-fits-all setups. Just the right tools and the right approach to bring out the best in your sound.
